Trinity Lutheran Church and School have started the
Do You Know?
program to assist our members in planning for life's
emergencies, especially end of life decisions. The program is made possible
by a $36,000 grant given by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Although the
program is made possible by this grant, it is not a Thrivent program.
The program will be directed by Julie Young who has been undergoing
extensive training and preparation so that she can help guide people through
some of the more challenging decisions that come when thinking about end of
life issues.
Each member family will have the opportunity to attend a
Do You Know?
dinner. The Thrivent grant will pay for your meal. You
will be given a binder with useful forms and during the presentation part of
the dinner, you will be guided through The
Five Things You Should Do Today!
There will also be an opportunity to follow-up with
Two things you should do in the next three months.
You will not be asked about money at the
Dinner. This program is to help members plan and be prepared for
emergencies. |
