Meet Our New Leader! Last spring MOPS was suddenly left without a leader; not wanting our group to become just a memory Stacey Hess stepped up to help us through the year. Apparently the role of leader fits her, because again this year she is our MOPS director. I personally really appreciate that she has taken on the challenge, so that our group can continue to grow, and touch women’s lives. Just a few facts about Stacey: She met her husband, Jacob, while in high school in Reese, Michigan. They have been married 8 years, and have two beautiful children Abbie, 4, and Allie, 2 1/2; their dog Remmy completes the family. Prior to becoming a stay at home mommy she was a restaurant manager at Red Lobster. When I asked her to give us a little insight to her daily life she said: “I love candles, I usually always have one going….and I can’t live without lotion, I use it sometimes instead of perfume. I like to take walks with the girls ( dog too) we read a lot together, and of course what would we do with out our barbies!!!” Make sure to take a minute and say thank you to Stacey for helping us out and taking on her role!

Wise
Words for Moms
By Ginger Plowman I found a little chart at Rainbow bookstore called “Wise words for moms;” I really liked it because sometimes I don’t know how to respond to my children’s conduct in a Godly way. Each newsletter I will include at least one behavior, and a Godly way to respond to it.Behavior: Complaining Ask your child: 1. Is your attitude showing thankfulness? 2. Rather than complaining, what can you be thankful for in this situation? Encouragement: “It is God’s will the you be thankful and joyful in all circumstances.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 |
