Timothy Ottoman Krieger, son of Edith Krieger and the late Dr. W. Harry Krieger, was born December 29, 1952 in Traverse City, Michigan. Following parochial and public schooling there, in Ann Arbor, and in Jackson, Michigan, he was graduated from Jackson High School in 1971.
His college education was completed at Concordia Lutheran Junior College, Ann Arbor (A. A., 197Z) and Concordia Teachers College, River Forest, Illinois (B.A., 1975). Pursuit of his seminary requirements led him to Cambridge, England, where he studied at Westfield House and under the Divinity Faculty of the University of Cambridge. He was awarded the Master of Divinity degree by the faculty of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri, in 1980. On April 25 of this year, Krieger received the call to St. John's Lutheran Church, Elgin, Illinois, where he will be installed August 10th.

Pastor Krieger was baptized at Trinity on January
12, 1952, and grew up in Traverse City, Ann Arbor, and Jackson. He received the
Associate in Arts
degree from Concordia Lutheran Junior College in Ann Arbor in 1973 and the
Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia Teachers College, River Forest, Illinois,
in 1975. He received the Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary,
Saint Louis, Missouri, in 1980 and his first assignment was as
Assistant Pastor, Associate Pastor, and then Senior Pastor of St. John Lutheran
Church, Elgin, Illinois. In 1989 he was called as Pastor of Beautiful Savior
Lutheran Church, Boise, Idaho, where he served until being called to Faith
Lutheran Church, Huntington Beach, California in June of 2000. In October of
2006 he was installed Senior Pastor of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Hartford,
Connecticut.
He married Lynnette Bowman in 1991. She taught second and third grades in
public and Lutheran schools and retired when they moved to Connecticut. They
enjoy travel, movies, reading, bicycling, and walking their miniature schnauzer,
Finn.
