Dr. Mari Dooley has been serving Trinity Lutheran Church & School in her present position since June 2002. Mari grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She earned a B.A. in Bible Education from Columbia Bible College in Columbia, South Carolina, and an M.A. in Special Education from Eastern Michigan University. She later completed a Ph.D. in Educational Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.

Mari taught junior high special needs students in Michigan, served as Youth Director and Director of Christian Education in churches in Mississippi and Florida, and ultimately served as a missionary in Austria for 23 years, primarily involved in evangelism and training. She still enjoys any opportunity to converse in German! She moved to Traverse City in 1998 to be closer to family. Mari enjoys reading, walking, boating, riding her bicycle, working in her yard, and visiting the various art galleries in the region.

Mari's duties at Trinity include primarily the day to day bookkeeping, accounts payable, record keeping, and human resources.
