I was born and raised in Bay City, MI. I attended to Faith Lutheran School for grades 1­-8. This is where I met and eventually fell in love with my future husband, Steve. One year after graduating from High School, Steve and I were married. That same year Steve's job brought us to Traverse City, where we became members of Trinity Lutheran Church. I received a degree in Marketing and Merchandising from NMC in Traverse City and worked in retail for several years.

We were blessed with 2 daughters, Lindsay and Stephanie. I was fortunate enough to be able to stay at home for 19 years, while the girls grew up. I consider that a real gift from God.

Since both of the girls went through Trinity, I spent many years around the school as an active parent. The part-time church secretary position became available after my girls graduated from Trinity, and by accepting the job, I still have reason to hang around here. Another gift from God (being able to spend time in a place you love, with people you love, and get paid for it)!

I enjoy spending time with my family camping, boating, and traveling. We also enjoy raising puppies for Leader Dogs For The Blind and most days a dog can be found under my desk in the church office.
