Now at Trinity. . .

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

At the beginning of the Summer, Trinity was honored by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod for being one of the top 5 congregations in the 6000 congregation church body. That was determined by analyzing the statistics over the last 5 years. The real measure of a church is faithfulness to the Word of God. By that measure we have a lot of good company throughout our Synod- thanks be to God. All we do at Trinity strives to demonstrate genuine faithfulness. It is a pleasure to serve among those who likewise appreciate that.

Summer does not mean that things slow down at Trinity. This summer we've dedicated our new organ and continue with the construction of our new school classrooms and media center! Wow.

Two different mission teams are being led by our two Assistant Pastors. Pastor Hoover is leading a team of over 60 volunteers including a large number of our youth members to help people in the Biloxi, Mississippi area to recover from the devastation of hurricane Katrina (click here for more information). Pastor Webb is leading a medical team to Guatemala. Their trip will bring the love of Christ and the healing that he works through a team of dedicated medical people to the folks who live and work in the city dump in Guatemala City.

Sunday School is enjoying Camp Narnia. Meanwhile, the adults and high school aged students are being led through a study of the DaVinci Code and a real life look at the reliability of the Bible and the church's teaching.

Summer is also a time of planning. Most of what will happen at Trinity for the next six months happens as a result of the plans laid from July through September.

But most of all, summer is a time for growth! Come grow in God's Word and grace this summer.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Zagore
