Participants in the Wedding Service q The people you choose for your wedding party are your own decision. However, since you have chosen to be married in a Christian service, please make sure the participants are willing to behave in a respectful manner before the Lord’s altar. q It is recommended that Children under 4 years old only participate in the wedding if they are being walked (hand in hand) or held by a parent or older child. Children 4-6 years old generally do well as part of the procession, but have a difficult time standing with the wedding party through the entire ceremony. Children in this age group should sit with their parents or other relatives after processing. Children 6 and over may stand with the wedding party, but even these may find it difficult. |
